"Ohio personal injury bill passes Senate and moves on to the House"

The almost entirely Republican backed Ohio personal injury bill has passed Ohio Senate with a 19-13 vote and moves on to the House. The Ohio personal injury bill is sponsored by Sen. Steve Stivers. Those against passing the Ohio personal injury bill thinks that the personal injury bill over compensates for stories heard in other states while Ohio does not suffer the same issues. In the past, the Ohio Supreme Court did not allow three previous attempts to pass the personal injury bill because it was ruled as unconstitutional.
